I hope you have had the opportunity to come in and look over the new building. The newly renovated library opened in December of 2001 and we are extremely proud of our new home.
Although we are very fortunate to have such a fine building, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our surroundings. The building was purchased from Bank of America, and we received a generous donation of furniture, but as with most things we are always in need of improvement.
This is where you can help the Library!
It is our hope that if you have a need to make a memorial or a gift to honor a loved one you will think of the Library as a worthy place.
“Friends of the Dunkin County Library” is a state and federal not-for-profit organization. All donations are fully deductible on income tax returns.
The level of contributor recognition will depend on the amount donated. Contributions will be honored at varying levels with their name being placed on an original piece of “Friends of the Library” artwork at the front entrance.
Opportunities for contributions are:
Best Seller $250 – 1000 Individual Room Naming $10,000
Limited Edition $1,001 – 5000 Public Meeting Room Naming $50,000
Rare Book $5001 – 10,000 Library Building Name $500,000
First Edition $10,00l – 25,000
Honorary Librarians $25,001 +
Donations of real estate or personal property, stocks and bonds, or mutual funds are all welcomed; each is fully deductible at present market value.
